Where to Start?
OK, so my biggest issue wasn't interest in the Stock Market because I always have been facinated by it since doing some paper trading in High School as a class project. Back then I did Disney and Coke, If I remember right. It has been a while. No, what my biggest issue was, was knowing how to go about it and how to do it the right way so I did not go totally broke trying to learn it. Thankfully, I found an institution that is educating me one on one on all sorts of financial issues. Some of it helps me to make money, some of it to save money and also to control money. You know me and my fettish for shoes and purses.... and clothes and so forth. Anyhow, controling my spending has always been an issue for me and wanting a real education that goes beyond high school has always been a dream.
So I will share with you some of what I learn, just incase you are interested in what I am doing.
Cheers!

First of all you need to understand the charts and numbers of the stock market. To understand charts and how they help you determine when, what and how to buy, you should check out the chart school at the following link. It's all free but there is quite a lot of reading to do. I would suggest you read it before you even think about looking at a stock list. And no, you do not need a copy of Wall Street Journal to do the stock market... I learned that one a little late. They're great for starting campfires but not much else because everything I need to know I can find free on the web, which I will share with you later.

By the way, whatever you do, don't follow trends or take anyone's advise on the 'Hottest Stock', unless it is maybe Warren Buffett and he is investing a lot into it himself. Everyone has their own views and methods and not any of them are 100% full proof and they usually want you to pay them for this information. So, you've been warned. I'm just going to give you the basics, no recommendations and of course for free.
